My CrossFit journey in a teeny tiny nutshell

First and foremost, before I start telling my journey of eating well and exercising, I give all credit to God.  Eating well and exercising is a significant part of my life, but it will never measure up to worshiping God. My foundation of life is centered around trying to best to make it into the kingdom as well as shining my light so others might choose to follow Him as well.  Eating well and exercising has optimized my life by helping me feel good.  Eating well and exercising has helped my energy levels and moods, which has helped me have more energy to serve God.

In a nutshell, I started to love exercising after my son was born almost 8 years ago when I wanted to lose weight.    I lost the weight with diet and exercise on traditional weight lifting and cardio machines.  Until 2 years ago, naturally, motivation was hard to achieve because doing the same thing over and over again without any real instruction.  After my daughter was born, I was introduced to CrossFit. I started doing CF at home, but finally after many attempts from my husband, I ventured out and did my first CF workout with
some fellow Crossfitters and friends. Continuing to improve physically and mentally, there was no looking back.  CF has helped my confidence tremendously. I have pushed myself to do things I never thought I would do like lift, run, jump, climb.sometimes all in the same WOD(workout of the day).  Pushing myself physically takes a significant amount of willpower mentally.  Pushing myself to the limit has helped me push myself in life and has helped me to be more confident in being who I am.  I got to CrossFit Cashmere now and  I am loving it!
